Abstract

Face recognition technology raises ethical and privacyconcerns, particularly regarding data security, consent, and potentialmisuse. A comprehensive analysis of face recognition, with a specificfocus on fuzzy logic (FL) and intuitionistic fuzzy logic (IFL) to addressuncertainties in facial feature extraction and recognition. Additionally,the paper explores the emerging concepts of IFL, evaluating itsapplicability and contributions to enhancing the robustness of facerecognition systems. The findings aim to guide researchers in thedevelopment of more adaptive and resilient face recognition systemsthrough fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy logic principles.
