Abstract

The near future is vastly uncertain however, when it comes to technology, digital platforms are undoubtedly the principal performers. The surging advancements of these digital platforms are emerging as powerful tools for community development with their ability to connect individuals and empower communities. The review emphasizes on the gaining traction of digital platforms in neighbourhood revitalization while fostering collaborative learning, and collective action to build a dynamic digital ecosystem. By analysing the shift of masses on the digital platforms for routine chores and their dependence on these for their streamlined application process, it is reasonable to assume that web-based applications are at the forefront of the emergent future.
