Abstract

This research paper details the creation and assessment of a web application for crowdfunding powered by blockchain technology. The goal of this study is to look into the possibility of using blockchain technology for crowdfunding and to provide a safe and effective platform that can overcome the present drawbacks of established crowdfunding sites. The design and implementation of a block chain-based crowdfunding web application, as well as a comparison of the proposed web application and conventional crowdfunding platforms, are all part of the methodology used in this study. The methodology also includes a review of the literature on the use of block chain technology in crowdfunding. The results of this study suggest that blockchain technology can offer a safe, open, and decentralised platform for crowdfunding that will aid in raising money and safeguard the interests of both project owners and investors. In comparison to conventional crowdfunding platforms, the suggested blockchain-based crowdfunding web application performed better in terms of transaction processing speed, security, and cost-effectiveness
