Abstract

The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain technology has the capability to revolutionize various industries by addressing critical challenges such as security, privacy, and scalability. This research paper seeks to highlight the opportunities and implications of utilizing blockchain technology to enhance IoT networks. In order to study in the realistic environment, Cisco network tracker is used for creating a virtual IoT network. The study assess the effectiveness of the IoT based blockchain technology network's security and efficiency. From the results obtained based on confidentiality, integrity and data authenticity comparison, it is found that blockchain Technology implemented with IoT networks is a promising approach for better security features
