Implementation of Generalized Modular Structured Multilevel Voltage Source Inverter
Conference: 3rd International Conference on Innovations in Electrical, Information and Communication Engineering
AbstractA modified structure of two-stage SEPIC based cascade 7-level T-type inverter is\npresented for photovoltaic applications. The proposed topology consists of a frond-end SEPIC\nconverter cascaded with three phase 7 level inverter. The proposed topology owns the merits of\nhigh boost output voltage level; modularity, reduced device parts, and better quality of supply\nCascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverters (CHBMLI) are having potential application in\ncontrolling the speed of Induction Motor Drives. This paper proposes a new modulation wave\nfor PWM control strategy which improves the overall performance of the CHBMLI. The\nperformance of 7-level CHBMLI with proposed PWM scheme is analyzed for three phase\ninduction motor drive as load. The simulation is carried out on MATLAB/SIMULINK platform\nand the results were compared with conventional method to validate the proposed scheme. |
