Abstract

In this paper, we present the results of three dimensional full-vector static electromagnetic simulation of silicon\nmicro-ring resonator operation. It is shown in the paper that geometrical and scalar approaches are not sufficiently accurate\nfor calculating resonator parameters. Quite strong dependence of ring resonator radius on waveguide width is revealed.
