Abstract

Competing in sports as on today is highly specialized, every aspect of sports persons is worked upon to bring out his best performance, no traits of his personality is untouched to make him deliver his best. Today molding a sportsperson is highly complicated process and people involving in this job must have multidimensional approach, among various other factors all components of psychology of sportsmen which influences his personality in turn has a considerable influence on his performance in competitive sports. Hence any study related to the personality or psychological aspects of a sportsman is always valuable and welcome, as these studies empower the people involved in training the sportsmen with more vigilance and intelligence.
