Abstract

Nowadays with the extensive use of Social media, people are sharing\ncontents in an unprecedented scale. As there are two sides of every coin, people\nare using Social Media to consume news as its very cost effective fast method for\ngetting the latest news on the tips of their fingers. But it also propagates fake\nnews, i.e. low quality news with intentionally false information. In this paper we\nwill see the different methods which are being used to detect the fake news also\nknown as rumors.
