Abstract

A new approach for identifying the binding region between the\nmiRNA and mRNA using the STFT method with Blackman window of length 24\nis presented in this paper. The seed region within the miRNA is also identified\nusing simple correlation methods. mRNA, RAC3 GTPase, is used for the\nanalysis. Results of binding region and seed region identification based on the\nmethods mentioned above, provide values closest to the data available at\nMicrocosm website.
