Abstract

In this paper a history of fundus imaging is presented followed by an overview of different diseases that can be\ndiagnosed by image analysis of fundus images. The need of preprocessing and some pre-processing approach for fundus\nimages have also been discussed. A brief literature review as also been done of the approaches employed to detect two\nprevalent ailment- glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
