Abstract

In this research work, we advise gateway based energy efficient routing protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks\n(WSNs). We introduced number of gateway nodes which are rechargeable and place them at the edge of sensing field and\nbase station is located out of the sensing field. Gateway Nodes are introduced to reduce traffic and to reduce distance for\nreliable data communication. We analyse our proposed network model design is better in terms of energy consumption and\nnetwork lifetime as compared to other models.
